Megan Davis

Professor Megan Davis is a Cobble Cobble Aboriginal woman who grew up in the North Burnett region, Hervey Bay and Eagleby, QLD. Megan is a Professor of Law and Chair of the Balnaves Chair in Constitutional Law and Pro Vice Chancellor Indigenous, UNSW. Davis is Commissioner of the NSW Land and Environment Court and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and the Australian Academy of Social Sciences and a member of the NSW Sentencing Council. Professor Davis currently serves as an expert and Vice-Chair of the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Megan is a Commissioner on the Australian Rugby League Commission.
