Jarrod Hughes

Jarrod Hughes is a Taungurung man of the Kulin Nation. He is currently employed as a Senior Advisor at the Centre for Innovative Justice at RMIT University. Jarrod has previously been employed as a Research Assistant at the Centre for the Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics (LSE) and has worked in policy and community engagement roles with the Victorian State Government and a client support role at the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service. He has also served as board member of Aboriginal organisations, including Tarwirri and the Taungurung Land & Waters Council. Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (Honours) from Monash University and in 2019 completed a masters degree in Social Policy (Research) with Distinction at LSE on a Roberta Sykes Scholarship and was awarded the Loch Exhibition Prize.
